Commenced in October 2021, the Cine Club at JIB has been an accelerating opportunity to film aficionados to explore their passion and ingenuity. The Cine Club is headed by Mr Upendrajit - the visual art faculty with Abhiram Chilakka as the student head of the club.

The team together analyse the short films screened every Tuesday while scrutinising diverse filmmaking tactics. Additionally, as the club progressed the team held sessions on photography, lighting etc. As part of these sessions, students are taught to capture images at the highest possible resolution and have the prospect to document their thoughts. They additionally acquire knowledge about filming by documenting experiences on CAS trips and other activities and they gain a lot from this collective effort.

Students conceptualised and directed many short films to illustrate their learning and experience from previous classes.
