Inspired by Dr.Samuel Johnson’s works Johnson Grammar School was established by Shri SRN Mudiraj in 1979 at Warasiguda, as a tribute to him.

What started as a school with 115 students soon began to grow and branched out at Habsiguda.

This year set another milestone for us as the school’s first batch of students wrote the ICSE exam.

The school grew bigger and more students became part of this great community to work together harmoniously walking out jubilantly.

JGS becomes the first ISO 9002 certified school in the entire country.
We strive hard to maintain high standards in imparting quality education to enable every child make a mark in the society - the vision of the founder.

The Gold medal was bagged in the ICSE exams by our school topper C. Kalyani. We were rated the best Indian school by the Indian Express!

Two of our students T.Keerthi and C.Anusha topped the ICSE exams in AP and were awarded the Gold medals.

JOHNSON IB – A Voyage of Discovery.
Wanting to bring in a more holistic development in our students, we decided to expand our horizon both in terms of horizontal domains and intellectual depths. That’s when the IBDP program was initiated in our school.
The main cause for us to start this course was to broaden the horizon of students and to help them leave a mark globally.

We branched to Mallapur with better facilities. The strength of the school touched a new mark of almost 5000.
